Description
Errazuriz Estate Reserva Pinot Noir
🏷️ Summary
A graceful and expressive Chilean Pinot Noir from Errazuriz’s cool-climate vineyards, Errazuriz Estate Reserva Pinot Noir blends bright red fruit with subtle savoury complexity and refined structure. Elegant and medium-bodied, this wine showcases the finesse and aromatic clarity that Pinot Noir can achieve outside Europe — ideal for food pairing and everyday enjoyment.
🍇 Tasting Notes
Pale ruby in the glass with translucent purple hues. The nose opens with red cherry, raspberry and cranberry, lifted by hints of wild strawberry, spice and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and silky, with juicy red fruit, gentle tannins and refreshing acidity that carry through to a clean, lingering finish with soft spice and mineral nuances.
🍽️ Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with roast chicken, turkey, pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon and charcuterie. Also works well with light tomato-based pastas and soft cheeses. Serve slightly chilled at 14–16 °C to highlight its freshness and aromatic detail.
🏡 Winemaking & Story
Produced by Viña Errazuriz, one of Chile’s most respected wineries, this Pinot Noir forms part of the Estate Reserva range, which emphasises varietal purity, balance and terroir expression. Grapes are sourced from cooler coastal sites in the Aconcagua Costa and other suitable valleys, where maritime breezes and cooler nights help preserve crisp acidity and delicate aromatics.
Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel and small oak vats to retain fruit brightness while adding texture and subtle oak complexity. A short period of ageing on lees enhances mouthfeel without overpowering the natural fruit character.
