🍇 Tasting Notes

The wine shows a deep ruby-red colour with violet hues. On the nose expect ripe blackberries, plums and some floral touches, accompanied by notes of liquorice and subtle spice. On the palate it is medium-to full-bodied, with flavours of cherries, dark plum and a hint of chocolate and vanilla from oak ageing. Finishes smooth and polished with a gentle spice note. 

🍽️ Food Pairing

Pairs beautifully with grilled beef, lamb chops, hearty stews, or rich pasta dishes. Also works with mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18 °C and consider a short decant to let the fruit open up.

Errazuriz, founded in 1870 in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley, is one of the country’s most esteemed wineries. The Estate Reserva Malbec grapes are sourced from the Aconcagua region, where warm days and cooling breezes help produce concentrated yet fresh fruit. After fermentation in stainless steel, part of the wine is matured in oak barrels to add structure and complexity while retaining varietal character.
